53 days ago, I start writing love letters on paper.
I write to family, friends, authors of books I love, coaches who rock my world . . . anyone and everyone is game as long as they have a pulse and inspire me in some way.
When I run out of people I can mail letters to, I start writing myself love letters on pretty postcards and coloured writing paper.
I want to train my brain to see the good in every day. I want to grow closer to God and love myself more. I want to live in love, not fear.
100 love letters later, I’m learning a few things:
You can’t put a price on beauty. Being generous with it rocks.
Love touches most hearts. Give it away with joy and enthusiasm.
Most people appreciate it when you reach out because you’re thinking of them. Start the conversations that matter.
Kindness is a gift and a superpower. Flex those muscles daily.
No matter how dark our world gets, light will always find its way through. Love is a beacon.
In a world of DMs, chats, and distracting apps, writing a love letter by hand is a special way to show that you care about someone and want to see them win.
Make the effort. Make the time. Write a love letter today and hug a heart tight.
