You’ve started. Waited. Persevered. Pressed in and pushed through and worked your hands bloody breaking through rock.
Given all you had and then some. Prayed. Prayed some more. And more. And more.
Believed. Prophesied. Held on like your life depended on it, come on somebody!
And yet.
And yet.
You’re still not where you want to be. Still don’t have the breakthrough, the harvest, the promise, the manifestation.
Now what?
Finish strong.
Hear me when I say this:
Giving up, giving in, and curling up in a ball? Will not get you where you want to be, where you yearn to be, where you’re called to be.
Finish strong.
Finish strong.
Finish STRONG.
As long as you have breath in your body, it’s not over yet. As long as you’re on this planet, it’s not over yet. As long as you believe things can still turn around, it’s not over yet.
Finish strong. This is not how your story ends and you won’t always feel how you feel right now. You won’t always be as tired, worn out, and plain empty as you are now.
If you know anything about me, you know I’ve had my share of challenges. I’ve been through the wringer, seen some tough times and barely come out swinging.
However.
I’m still here. You’re still here. We’re still here, still breathing, still believing, still hoping. God’s not done with us yet, people!
I don’t have a magic formula for you. No snazzy, trendy 10-step process for immediate happiness and relief.
What I do have is an exhortation for robust faith, grit, and brave love.
What I do have is the belief that walking with God will get you where you need to be.
What I do have is a prayer that you cling to Him and trust Him to work it out.
I wouldn’t be writing to you today if I didn’t believe what I’m saying. Maybe you’ll agree with it, maybe you won’t. Either way, finishing strong is the best response to every challenge.
We’ve all got some wounds and baggage in our lives. Stuff pinning us down, draining us, weighing heavy on our hearts.
How long are you gonna carry those burdens? How long will you stay trapped in the same cycle? How long will you live your life on pause?
There’s a dream, a fire, a vision swirling in your belly. You know the one I mean.
Will today be the day you move towards it once more, or the day you shy away from it yet again because you think it’s simply impossible?
The path you choose? Is up to you.
Make it count.
