Third prompt for Reverb11. It is ON.

High points: My summer in Nigeria; I got to see some family there and reconnect with old friends. A couple of my best girlfriends are now in my life and they make all the difference. Good times, good times. I also discovered that I was quite popular in high school and everyone just assumed I knew. I’m like why didn’t anyone tell me back then, LOL. Felt nice to know I wasn’t part of the wallpaper like I thought, AND they thought I was cool. 😀 Heh heh heh.

Low points: Um. Lost love. Heartaches and heartbreaks. Uncertainty concerning work and further education. I won’t bore you with details but there were a fair few thorns mixed with my bed of roses.

As a whole, though, it’s been a year of definite growth. I’m not the same person I was back in January and I’m thankful for that. It’s all about the forward movement, you know? Hasn’t been an easy road thus far but I wouldn’t have it any other way. After all, trials can only make you stronger if they don’t break you first; since I’m not broken, I’m definitely stronger, bigger, better. The world is not ready, LOL.
