“I don’t know what to do.”
You do. You do know what to do. You’ve always known.
You know that you need to live true to yourself. You know that you need to work towards your desire, not against it. You know that you need to feel alive by doing the things that are sacred and important to you.
You know. You know.
Your soul is nudging you right now, isn’t it? Whispering in your ear and urging you to leap. Leap. Piping up and saying “She’s right, you know. Let’s go for it. Let’s!”
Let it move you. Let it speak. Let it grow. Let your soul guide you.
We all feel it, don’t we? The sense that life could be better, that we could do more and be more and feel more. We sense it. We ignore it. We run from it. Or we embrace that feeling and fly with it. Whatever we do, either we choose to work with it or against it.
A constant burn. A faint nudge. A yearning for more. All signs that we’re ready to evolve to the next level. All signs that we’re aching to realise the dreams fed to us by our sacred source. All signs that we’re longing to fulfil the radiant visions dancing before our eyelids. We are. We always are.
But it’s so easy to let fear and doubt paralyse us. We think that no one could possibly want what we have to offer. We stamp out our own fires and strangle our own flames. We stay small and grey and dim our own brilliance. Sound familiar?
“Forget past mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything
except what you’re going to do now and do it.”
William Durant
What if we turned a new page and filled it with colour? What if we fed our souls the freedom they crave to be? What if we fuelled our flames and let our fires blaze sky-high?
I saw a quote on Twitter that made me beam with wild delight:
“Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames.”
Rumi

Yes. YES. They’re in me. They’re in you. They’re in all of us. Great big beautiful fires itching to burst forth and carry us along in a heady blaze; to spur us into living richer and fuller lives packed with joy and bliss and fulfilment; to burn away the fear and doubt as we grab hold of our dreams and bring them into reality.
You know what to do.
You know what to do.
You do know what to do.
Set yourself free to be what your heart’s calling you to be. Set yourself free to do what you’re longing to do, to flow with that idea keeping you up at night and running on constant replay in your gut. Set yourself free to admit what you want and want it. Get it. Settle for nothing but it. Your conviction feels right, yes? Trust it.
You know what to do. Dare yourself. Brave it. Like Nikki Groom says in one of her get-up-and-go posts, Do What You Need to Do over and over again.
“People who soar are those who refuse to sit back, sigh and wish things would change. They neither complain of their lot nor passively dream of some distant ship coming in. Rather, they visualize in their minds that they are not quitters; they will not allow life’s circumstances to push them down and hold them under.”
Charles R. Swindoll
Go ahead. Do it. I’ll be right here cheering for you.
Thank you, Otiti!
Absolutely. We know what to do. We know what we need to do. The time for procrastination is over!
You're welcome! Yup, we need to live bolder and brighter than ever before. Playing small just won't cut it anymore. Thank you for reading.
