Of Stardust + Audacious Cosmic Energy

This whole week has been about being audacious and living out loud at full volume. Like, eardrum-piercing, blood-throbbing volume. Fuelled purely by your intuition and the fact that you’re simply brimming with cosmic energy, dahling.

Dictionary.com : audacious (adj):

  1. extremely bold or daring; recklessly brave; fearless
  2. extremely original; without restriction to prior ideas; highly inventive
  3. recklessly bold in defiance of convention, propriety, law, or the like; insolent; brazen
  4. lively; unrestrained; uninhibited

You are made of stardust. You are here to revel in colour and energy. You are here to live every single day. Believe that.

If you ask me what I came to this world to do, I will tell you: I came to live out loud.

Incandescent inker Nikki Groom wrote a post that made me sit up and PAY ATTENTION: Indecision Is Brutal was a wake-up call like no other. Packed with gorgeous goodness and one soul-scorching line after the other, it made me ask one simple question: WTF was I doing dithering so much?

Why wasn’t I out there acting on my truth? Why wasn’t I lighting up the universe with my personal brand of magic? And more importantly, why are we so hesitant to step into our power?

While I was still chewing over Nikki’s words 2 days later, I read You’re Genius. Didn’t You Know? by Danielle Dowling. Danielle spoke my language and drummed home the message that it’s time to explode onto the scene. Now. NOW. Not tomorrow or next week.

Well, I don’t know about you but it definitely seemed like the universe was trying to tell me something. Not just me either, but you, you, you, and you. Everyone who reads this blog and the posts above. That message is simply this:

Be bold. Fierce. Audacious. Dare to dream so big you can’t imagine how it’ll ever be possible, then make it possible. Dare to have a vision so grand you wonder if you’re not deluding yourself, then knuckle down and work it into existence.

Follow your intuition so audaciously you have no room for doubt and second-guessing. Get out there and make shit happen.

You can have anything you want if you want it desperately enough. You must want it with an inner exuberance that erupts through the skin and joins the energy that created the world.

No Games. Just Love.

Hey, all. My Facebook status for this past week was the title of this post. No games. Just love. I was thinking about how we often hide how much we really care about our loved ones, and I wonder why it’s like that. I mean, if you love someone, he/she should know, right? Apparently not always.

If you have to guess what you mean to a person you deeply care about, if you keep the nature and extent of your emotions under wraps, if you play games to maintain the upper hand…..it just seems pointless to me. It’s not business, it’s a friendship, a relationship. It’s personal.

Put yourself out there. It’s worth the risk. Win or lose, rise or fall, acceptance or rejection, you did it anyway. You weren’t afraid to let your feelings show. If you fear the other person might not value your openness, well, there’re valid reasons for such a concern. All I know is one ought to be comfortable sharing if the object of your affection is good for you, and I’m talking about all sorts of relationships here. I won’t go near business because, yeah, it’s governed by a different set of rules. But otherwise? Let them know, people. Let them know.
