I have been wandering this path
Testing, trying, starting new each day
Is it now? Is it here?
Do I try, do I dare?
Caught in the transformation from bug to butterfly
Swirling in the soup of cells dissolving and forming
One thing I do know is I am not who I used to be
And not yet what I shall be.
And in this space of newness and exploration
I am alive, I am His
And I am more beautiful than I ever imagined
Because He sees me as more beautiful than I ever imagined.
And His love, His truth, His joy,
Shape me into a beautiful work of art
Scars and all.
So I may be as one lost or confused
But He holds me
In the palm of His hand
He knows my ending from my beginning.
And with Him by my side
I will emerge from my chrysalis
Whole, vibrant, beautiful, and strong
And most of all
Loved.

Truly beautiful, it has a certain daintiness about it. Been tossing the word ‘Liminal’ in my head and all that’s coming back is ‘Minimal’ 😊
Otiti Jasmine says
Onyiiiii! 😀 Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
Bahahaha at ‘minimal’ coming back! Minimal damage, perhaps? Or maybe minimal fuss? 😉
Funny how these things work. Wrote this poem years ago but I’m living it out now in a WHOLE new way. Whew. God is good! 😀
Hugs! Miss you!

Otiti Jasmine,
This poem is not only beautiful, it’s also prophetic!
I especially like the part …’One thing I know is that I am not who I used to be.’
And truly, now, you’re definitely someone new!
Alive, His, and more beautiful than you ever imagined.
Yes, you are blessed and loved.
Many hugs.
Otiti Jasmine says
Heeeey, Mama! 😀 Thank you so much! I feel the love!
Yup, I had NO idea how true this poem would be in my life, never mind how true it is this season! Whew!
Today is a new day. God is doing a new thing and it’s marvellous in our sight! YAY! 😀

Beautiful….we are His, we are loved…
So amazing…
Otiti Jasmine says
Hey Annita! Yes we are! Ain’t no love like the Father’s love, amen?!
Thank you for being here. 🙂
