Creativity isn’t always a roar in your spirit.
Sometimes it’s a gentle whisper of soft, important truths and the healing they bring.
It isn’t always a massive, technical jungle of moving parts and complexities and story arcs you need a keen wit to untangle.
Sometimes it’s a placid pool of water so clear you can see the bottom, and so beautiful that it simply awes you.
Creative flow isn’t always one thing, one way, all the time.
It shimmies and sways and unfurls into lilting melodies and radiant petals shimmering with light.
Your job isn’t to force the flow or die trying.
It’s to show up and clear enough space for your genius to bloom.
To be flexible enough to discover and tread the path open to you without binding yourself to a particular way of expression.
To mine as much treasure as you can in the time you have and let it be enough.
To understand that you can still be a rock star creative even in the little things and on the slower days.
There’s always something beautiful to say, make, and create.
Open yourself to it and absorb each moment as the wonderland it is.
