How many times do you feel like you have to dress it (or you) up first before you share it? Like if your lipstick and eyebrows aren’t popping, you’re not posting a picture?
Guess what?
It doesn’t have to be glamorous to be beautiful.
You don’t have to be dressed up and made up to the nines to be gorgeous. You don’t need anyone else’s approval before you share something that matters deeply to you, that hums with truth, that sparks a fire in your bones and lights up a star in your heart.
True beauty is love, joy, connection, a heart on fire for Jesus. True beauty is an inside job, not an outside one.
It’s about being generous, loving hard and deep, and sprinkling joy everywhere you go. It’s about being real, raw, and vulnerable, and trusting that your people will love you just as you are.
It’s OK to show up without the bells and whistles. To take off your mask and show us who you really are underneath it all. To mix it up and be confident in how you rock it out without biting your nails over who’s looking at you and what they’re saying and oh my stars, do you need another filter???!!!
Breathe deep.
Relax.
Unfurl.
You’re here to live, not drown in anxiety over what they think or say. There’s a time to glam it up and show them you came to slaaaay, (yes, honey!) and there’s a time to just kick back, have fun, and do your thing. Y’know?
Take the selfie. Write the email. Shoot the video barefaced and glowing. Pour your heart out and hold nothing back.
Be brave and rock it out ’cause vulnerable is beautiful too.
How will you share your true self today?
