When Jesus hung on the Cross, it seemed like all hope died with Him.
He was the Saviour, the Messiah, so how could He be dead? What would His disciples do without Him?
Jesus died so we could be free. His sacrifice bought our eternity, our salvation, and our hope. Hope didn’t die on the Cross; hope was born on the Cross.
Maybe today is a Good Friday in your life. Maybe someone or something precious has just died, and you’re reeling from the shock and grief. There is hope for your healing, and His Name is Jesus.
Your miracle is in His resurrection because when He cried out, “It is finished!” (John 19:30), He was declaring His victory over sin and death. He declared His victory over sorrow, despair, and darkness. He paid it all for your salvation, healing, and deliverance.
So today, I want to encourage you wherever you’re at in your life right now. Jesus is your Salvation, your Hope, and your Peace. There is “no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12), and there’s nothing impossible for Him to do.
No matter how bleak, impossible, or hopelessly dark Good Friday looks, Resurrection Sunday is coming, because the King of glory rose again.
Your joy will rise again. Your hope will rise again. And your praise will break forth again, because the same One who died on the Cross two thousand years ago is the same One coming to save you now.
Hold on. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
Your morning is here. “He is risen” (Matthew 28:6).
Wow, Otiti this is so inspired. Thank you so much and I recieve this prayer and the promise.
‘Your joy will rise again. Your hope will rise again. And your praise will break forth again, because the same One who died on the Cross two thousand years ago is the same One coming to save you now.’
Hallelujah !!!
